Mitch brings the same full-throttle attitude to his role as CEO for Works Computing. He continually focuses on the big picture – turning new products, technologies and trends into successful customer-centric solutions. 30 years in the IT industry, combined with the ability to envision what practical and effective business solutions look like, provides customers with an honest and balanced approach to their challenges.

After working on avionics in the U.S. Air Force, and a Control Data Institute computing degree, Mitch spent 14 years with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), starting off in field service as a disk and tape specialist. He then moved into technical sales support, and became one of the original team members of Digital’s Storage works division. In that role, Mitch helped grow the Storage works’ product set into one of the most significant hardware platforms in computing history. It was that wealth of IT experience and customer interaction that Mitch leveraged to become co-owner of Works Computing in 1997.

Outside the office, Mitch has a number of hobbies including lifelong passions in motorcycling, competitive shooting and photography, as well as newer interests in flying, diving, and high-performance cars. He is just as active around the house, where he and his wife Lisa enjoy participating in the activities and lives of their five children.

As president and founder of Works Computing, Pat likes to keep it simple – empowering others to do their best and treating people how he’d like to be treated. His hands-on, down-to-earth approach keeps the business focused, his team relaxed and customers happy.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Minnesota, Pat sharpened his sales skills at Coca Cola. He joined IBM in 1987 and quickly established himself in the technology field. It was this experience that Pat leveraged to launch Works Computing in 1994. Since then, he’s helped grow the start-up venture into a $50 million annual business – making it one of the leading enterprise IT solutions providers in the Midwest.

When not in the office, Pat enjoys spending time with friends, his wife and three kids – who keep him very busy with their active lives.

Advanced technology and innovation come naturally to Mitch. In the past two decades, he has crafted numerous technology, product, and marketing strategies for IT and communications organizations around the country. During that time, he has also built an impressive intellectual property portfolio that includes several “Cloud Computing” related patents.

Mitch has a master’s degree in Computer Engineering with a Major in information assurance (Computer Security) from Iowa State and a bachelor’s degree in IT management from Concordia University. Mitch serves on the board of directors for Defending the Blue Line – a non profit organization created by soldiers with the spirit of keeping hockey alive for the children of our nations military. In his spare time, Mitch enjoys motorcycle riding, hockey and spending time with his wife and their dogs.

As Chief Financial Officer, Greg brings his financial management experience and expertise to Works Computing. In this role, Greg directs all financial aspects of the business including budgeting, financial planning & analysis, and monitoring the financial performance of the Company.

Prior to joining Works Computing, Greg held various challenging positions including Controller at consumer fulfillment and call center services provider, Skybridge Marketing Group, in Greenfield, Minnesota. Assistant Controller for fulfillment services provider, Archway, in Rogers, Minnesota.

While at home, Greg and Lisa, his wife, are very active and busy with their four children. Greg, having played collegiate baseball and basketball, is an avid sports fan. He also enjoys coaching his children in the various sports programs to help him stay young at heart. Having grown up in South Dakota he thoroughly enjoys hunting and fishing too.

Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
