After working on avionics in the U.S. Air Force, and a Control Data Institute computing degree, Mitch spent 14 years with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), starting off in field service as a disk and tape specialist. He then moved into technical sales support, and became one of the original team members of Digital’s Storage works division. In that role, Mitch helped grow the Storage works’ product set into one of the most significant hardware platforms in computing history. It was that wealth of IT experience and customer interaction that Mitch leveraged to become co-owner of Works Computing in 1997.
Outside the office, Mitch has a number of hobbies including lifelong passions in motorcycling, competitive shooting and photography, as well as newer interests in flying, diving, and high-performance cars. He is just as active around the house, where he and his wife Lisa enjoy participating in the activities and lives of their five children.
